Advice on Autism Spectrum Disorders as well as information on Depression

CloseDescription:

It has been 4 years since our eldest son was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and 3 years since our youngest was diagnosed with PDD-NOS, a different form of autism. Having a child a either end of the autism spectrum makes for an interesting time ;-)

I take things as they come and feel that every ‘drama’ can be sorted out. Sometimes the best way to get your head around autism is to talk to someone who is going through a similar experience.

Feeling down? Feeling a bit blue? Do you suffer from depression? If so, come and chat with me about ways of getting your mind up and running in a positive way. Having first been diagnosed with depression at the age of 17, I have literally TONS of experience in this area and am more than willing to chat with you about your current situation.

Thinking of visiting Western Australia? You should, it is a beautiful place. I live in Perth and would love to chat about it =D

CloseExperience:

Having children with autism can seem overwhelming at times. I know as I have two boys, aged 6 and 4, who both have autism. We have done a lot of the therapy required to get them "up to speed" by ourselves which has helped kept costs low. Both boys are attending school in an Education Support Setting. It is a lot of work and can be emotionally draining at times.
